Hans Elstner, CEO of rooom AG, impresses with his positive energy and sense of purpose. The digital innovator in Hans was brought to life at a very young age. It was then that the Thuringian native received his first PC. Instead of just playing computer games like his classmates, he started programming games himself and learned to love the limitless possibilities of the digital universe. At the age of 15, Hans began to support various companies with IT solutions and, a little later, became self-employed in this field. A few successful years later, the IT Pro decided to deepen his knowledge and skills in industrial engineering, e-commerce and programming and studied Internet Business Engineering - a degree program sponsored by the well-known company Intershop. 

In 2005, Hans founded an agency for digital transformation. With his steadily growing team, he advised and supported companies on various digitalization issues. His clients included companies such as Subway, Hewlett-Packard, BOSCH, Linamar and Sumitomo (SHI) Demag. During this time, Hans was able to gain a lot of valuable experience in the field of digitization. 

The essential business idea for a 3D platform came to the entrepreneur in 2012. Hans dreamed that 3D technologies would one day be available to everyone and accessible everywhere, at any time. So the idea grew to create something completely new - an easy-to-use platform for 3D and virtual reality. Hans started looking for allies and fearlessly put the idea into action. In 2018, the initial platform was launched. More and more people joined him and the mission “Democratize 3D”. In addition to the powerful platform solution and a motivated team behind the scenes, it was the enthusiastic and freshly presented pitches with which the founder quickly led rooom to a high level of popularity. 

Now in 2022, Hans Elstner is the CEO of the successful rooom AG with 130+ employees and is himself on the road as a start-up mentor and speaker.
